The short version. This website tells you what I do. It is not a contract, and nothing on it is a promise of results. Actual work is covered by a separate written agreement we both sign.

Northpoint Digital Agency, a British Columbia sole proprietorship of Kyle Nielsen (registration FM1115768), based in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

Information about the website building and advertising services I offer. Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.
No guarantee of results
Anything on this site describing what a website or advertising can do is a general description, not a promise about your business. I do not guarantee any particular number of leads, calls, sales, revenue, search ranking, or return on advertising spend. Results depend on your market, your budget, your pricing, your reviews, and how quickly you follow up with the people who contact you.
Getting in touch is not a contract
Emailing, calling or booking a call creates no obligation on either side. Work begins only when we both sign a written agreement and the first payment or deposit is made.
Your own responsibilities
If I build your website or run advertising for you, you remain responsible for:
- The accuracy of any offer, price or claim you ask me to publish or advertise;
- Holding the rights to any photos, logos or text you give me to use;
- Responding to the enquiries your website or advertising brings in;
- Handling those people's personal information lawfully;
- Having a privacy policy for any personal information your website or ads collect.

This site may link elsewhere. I am not responsible for anything on sites I do not control.
My content
The text, design, images and layout of this site belong to Northpoint Digital Agency. Please do not copy them for your own commercial use without asking. Ask, and I will usually say yes.
Limit of liability
This site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from using it or relying on it. Where work has been contracted, liability is governed by that signed agreement, not this page. The site is hosted by a third party and may occasionally be unavailable.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
